Tower of Hatnoi
A small game made in puzzlescript for the 2022 thinky puzzle game jam.
It's my first serious attempt at making something in puzzlescript and it turned out mostly alright even if I made the mistake of going for rigid objects immediately.

The final puzzle was great! It's truly difficult with multiple sticking points. You have to sacrifice some of your flexibility in order to make progress, but then you find that you can actually just barely still make it work. Overall, an elegant puzzle that feels impossible in multiple ways as you're solving it but becomes simple in retrospect.
I'm impressed with how much depth came from a pretty simple set of rules and a unique win condition. Even though it was easy to feel stuck at times, I'm glad I pushed through and got to enjoy this game!
Amusing premise, haha. I couldn't pass level 3, but from the comments I can imagine it gets really tricky.
First of all, really great puzzle. Simple rules easy to grasp, levels that have just one solution most of which need careful thought.
However, I'd really appreciate any hints for level 6.
I think the approach is to get green to the right by going over blue, then get blue on top of green by raising it on the left. Mostly because I can't see what else to do. However I can do the first part but not the second - Am I on the right lines, and either way any hints?
And BTW this is probably now one of my favourite puzzlescript puzzles, and I've played a lot of them, so I mean it when I say really great!
Thank you for the kind words. Your approach is mostly right, but your approach to the second step is a bit different from how I'd describe it - think about other ways to move hats to get to your desired order.
The key is to support the blue hat so there's room to slide green under the blue, rather than put blue on top of green.
thanks!
and for anybody reading this for hints, what was 6 is now 7!
